FULL-TIME, Real Sociedad 2-2 Barcelona: Barça didn’t kill the game when they had the chance, and they’ve dropped two big points before the Clásico. It’s Anoeta and Sociedad, though.

GOAL, Real Sociedad 2-2 Barcelona (Isak 62’): Sociedad equalize. Cross comes into the box, Ter Stegen tries to clear it but can’t and Alexander Isak has a tap-in.

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!! Real Sociedad 1-2 Barcelona (Suárez 49’): BARÇA TAKE THE LEAD!!! BRILLIANT pass from Busquets to find a wide open Lionel Messi in front of goal, and the captain is unselfish and gives Luis Suárez an easy tap-in.

SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Real Sociedad 1-1 Barcelona: Tough first half but we’ve recovered and can still win this, boys!

HALFTIME, Real Sociedad 1-1 Barcelona: La Real scored early and dominated most of the half, but Barça grew into the game and became dangerous on the counter until they found the equalizer. This is nervous for fans, but really high-level stuff for neutrals.

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!! Real Sociedad 1-1 Barcelona (Griezmann 38’): BARÇA EQUALIZE!!! It’s a quick counter attack and Luis Suárez finds Antoine Griezmann who shows incredible poise and chips the keeper to score against his former club! Big goal before halftime!

GOAL, Real Sociedad 1-0 Barcelona (Oyarzabal 12’): Mikel Oyarzabal scores from the spot and La Real have the lead.

PENALTY! Real Sociedad are awarded a spot kick as the referee saw Sergio Busquets grabbing Diego Llorente’s shirt. VAR made their check and confirmed the call.

KICKOFF! Real Sociedad 0-0 Barcelona: Come on, boys! Let’s win again at Anoeta!

Matchday Thread Rules

We don’t have a lot of rules here, but there are a few things to keep in mind when joining our matchday threads:

Even if the referee sucks or we lose the game, be careful with the swearing. It’s just unnecessary. Also, don’t discuss illegal streaming links. Those who do it will be warned, and those who post links will be instantly banned. Finally, be nice to each other. This is a Barcelona community and we don’t need to offend one another.
