Barcelona announced on Friday that both Arthur and Ansu Fati will miss Saturday’s La Liga clash with Real Mallorca due to injury.

The Brazilian midfielder has picked up a groin problem, while Ansu has a knee injury and neither will feature at the Camp Nou.

The two players did not train with the group on Friday in the final session before Saturday’s match and join Jordi Alba, Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele on the sidelines.

Barcelona have not stated how long they expect the duo to be out for, but they may also sit out Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Inter as top spot is already secured.

Arthur’s injury means that Ivan Rakitic could start a third game in a row, although Arturo Vidal will also be hoping to join Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets in midfield.
