Luis Suarez surprised a lot of people with his backheeled goal against Real Mallorca on Saturday, including manager Ernesto Valverde.
The Barca boss said after the match the goal “took him by surprise” and he initially thought Suarez was trying to pass to a team-mate.
Yet it turns out we shouldn’t have been surprised at all. Footage from training has emerged which shows Suarez coming up with a remarkably similar attempt.
