Luka Jović’s agents and FC Barcelona are very close to agreeing personal terms, leaving only a transfer free to be settled with Eintracht Frankfurt before he can come to the Camp Nou, according to local paper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

Barcelona’s interest in the Serbian attacker to become Luis Suárez’s successor is an open secret at this point, but the Catalans will have to battle it out with European heavyweights to land Jović.

Agents from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea have been spotted in Frankfurt, according to FAZ.

As far as a transfer fee, Eintracht Frankfurt sees the price Barcelona paid Ajax for Frenkie de Jong as a marker. We shall see whether the German club can negotiate for a transfer fee in that region - 75 million euros plus add-ons.

Jović is technically a Benfica player, on loan to Frankfurt, but since the Germans have a buy option that they will use for sure, Barça will have to buy him from them.
