Maxi Gómez - Barcelona’s next striker?

According to the cover of Mundo Deportivo, Celta Vigo’s Gómez has emerged as the favorite to be Barcelona’s next striker, ahead of Sevilla’s André Silva. The Uruguayan is only 22, but he would cost 50 million euro if the Catalans pay his release clause. A factor that goes in his favor is he has La Liga experience. Other targets include Lille pair Nicolas Pépé and Rafael Leão, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jović.

Adrien Rabiot saga restarts

Barcelona have withdrawn their first offer and will only reopen negotiations if the player himself gives a step forward towards signing, according to the cover of Diario SPORT. The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder was the cause of much speculation after he turned down his club’s offers of a renewal. He was linked with joining Barça on a free transfer next summer, but his salary demands, as well as the commission demanded by his agent and mother, Veronique, seemed to put the move on hold. According to SPORT, the player has a strong desire to wear blaugrana next season and has hired a new agent.
