Carles Alena called into Spain Under-21 squad

Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena has been called up to the Spain Under-21 squad for their games against Romania and Austria later this month.

The 21-year-old is enjoying a fine season after breaking into the Barcelona first team and will now be hoping to make his Spain Under-21 debut.

Barcelona B’s Sergi Palencia, who is currently on a season-long loan with Bordeaux, has also been called up and will be hoping to make another appearance for La Rojita.
