Barcelona faced an impossible week, including two Clasicos, but were perfect. Here’s how they did it | ESPN
To come into this week-long football inquisition on pretty stale form and beat not only Sevilla but the European champions --twice -- in a week is exceptional. But to do it on an 8-2 aggregate across three away matches is just sensational. 12 wins for Messi at the Bernabéu | FC Barcelona
Winning against Real Madrid is always special and, in recent years, Barça haven’t grown tired of doing so at the Bernabéu. In fact, since the famous 2-6 in the 2008/09 season, 11 victories have been achieved: 8 in the League, 2 in the Cup and 1 in the Champions League. And, in most of these matches there is a common denominator; Leo Messi.

With this crucial point considered, Arturo Vidal and Arthur Melo’s respective recoveries come as excellent news for the Catalans.

Some would say it’s a great problem to have whereas others would claim it’s creating a huge distraction. What is clear is that Ivan Rakitic’s season is one you could laminate, take to a photograph shop and frame it for the world to see. The Croatian’s performance in El Clasico was sensational and it’s been a common theme throughout his time at the Camp Nou.
