Barca vs Levante- My Game Lineup

In this article, I'm basically gonna talk about the starting line up and basic game plan for our weekend game in the La Liga, that I would ideally use.

DEFENCE- Last time around, Pique was given a start will Lenglet and Alba started on the bench. Therefore, I would start with a back four of Semedo-JCT-Lenglet-Alba, while also giving Jasper Cillesen a rare start in between the two posts.

MID-FIELD- Rakitic sat out completely in the mid-week game whileArthut start on the bench. I would start with Alena-Sergi Roberto-Rakitic in the mid-field with Roberto playing as the pivot and Alena being rewarded for his performance against Alaves.

ATTACK- I would start with what is arguably our best attacking trio- Messi, Malcom and Dembele. in the first half, I would play Malcom on the left wing and Dembele on the right with Leo playing F9, and switch Malcom on to the right and OD to the left from the second half.

SUBSTITUTIONS- Usually, the substitution changes will depend on how the match is going. However, as the result of this match is rather irrelevant, there is no harm in planning the changes ahead of time-

Minute 53-58: Coutinho(in) Alena(out)

Carles Alena is a great player who us heavily involved when on-field. However, I have noticed that he begins to tire around the hour mark and loses his presence on the pitch. This could be a good time to bring Coutinho on, in the mid-field. My reason is that Ousmane Dembele has looked rusty of late, while Coutinho has shown marginal improvement. This match could be a good indicator on who is better prepared(mentally and physically) for the Liverpool clash.

Minute 61-67:Umtiti(in) Alba(out)

Jordi Alba should be given some rest, and this could happen by switching to a back 3 and pushing Semedo forward for the last half hour. This would also be a good game for Titi to come in and stake a claim on the left side of the defender.

Minute 72-79:Arthur (in) Dembele (out)

The only reason this change comes so late is as a provision for an unforseen injury to any player. Arthur can play in the left side of the mid-field while Coutinho can move to LW for the last 15 minutes plus stoppage time. This also gives Dembele ample game time to shake off his rust and gain some confidence ahead of the CL semis.

Let me know what you think of this line up and this sort of an article in the comments. See you all at the title celebration.
