Neymar is pushing for his friend and compatriot Philippe Coutinho to make the same move he did, from Barcelona to Paris-Saint Germain, according to Paris United.

Coutinho has not settled in as hoped when he arrived in a blockbuster deal from Liverpool, and it’s understood Barça are willing to part with him should the right offer come in.

PSG may be willing to go several steps to appease their star, and good relationships between Coutinho’s agents and the club could help.

On the other hand, Barcelona’s relationship with PSG is notoriously sour, which could halt the deal. Over the last few seasons, the two clubs have battled over Thiago Silva, Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot, Frenkie de Jong, and of course, Neymar himself.

Bottom line is that the Catalans will be willing to play hardball, but at the same time, a really good economic offer could tempt them.
