Luis Suarez will play no further part in Barcelona’s season after undergoing knee surgery, but he has taken time out to send a message on social media.
The Uruguayan has said the club must learn from their difficult experiences if they are to improve, presumably in response to the club’s Champions League exit to Liverpool.
Work looking forward because you can always improve. Learning from the most difficult moments even if the situation is very painful! It’s hard but we need to be positive pic.twitter.com/EW1Ov4XAee— Luis Suarez (@LuisSuarez9) May 18, 2019
Barcelona’s failure in Europe seems to have overshadowed their achievements this season once again, even though they are on course to do a domestic double for the second year in a row.
The club wrapped up La Liga with games to spare and will play their final fixture against Eibar on Sunday before taking on Valencia in the final of the Copa del Rey next weekend.
