FC Barcelona are ready to let go of Jasper Cillessen in a straight swap for Valencia’s goalkeeper, Neto, according to RAC1.

Cillessen has spoken about his desire for more playing time, although no team has come through with enough money to persuade the Catalans to part with him.

However, a more creative solution could be in the cards, with Valencia willing to acquire him through a player swap by giving up their Brazilian keeper.

Neto will get less playing time, however, he will receive a salary bump - his wages could be doubled. The 29-year-old started 34 of Valencia’s 38 matches in La Liga.

The negotiations are said to be well-advanced, with two other players also interesting Valencia in separate deals: Rafinha and Denis Suárez.
