FC Barcelona are willing to bring Neymar back into the fold if he lowers his salary, asks forgiveness, and withdraws his lawsuits against the club, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The player left the club for Paris Saint-Germain, seemingly burning the bridge he had with the Catalan club’s management. Barcelona did not agree to the sale, instead, the Parisians activated his release clause.
Some within the club completely rule out taking him back, such is the acrimony the forward’s exit provoked. However, Barça are willing to forgive him, although they have not fully decided to bring him back, according to MD.
Barcelona will not pay him his current salary of 30 million euros a year. And they will not pay him bonuses he says he was owed from his stint at the club, which he has taken the club to court over. Neymar will have to come back humbled for the club to accept him.
