Barcelona want Griezmann AND Neymar this summer

Today’s rumors start with news that Barcelona want to sign both Antoine Griezmann and Neymar this summer.

Sport report that president Josep Maria Bartomeu’s “dream” is to land the duo because it would give them an uneviable attack and surely boost their Champions League hopes.

Thing is, splashing the cash on both means it’s going to be difficult for Barcelona to balance the books.

Neymar and Griezmann would both need to take big wage cuts and Barca would have to sell Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti too.

Socios don’t want Neymar back

However, Mundo Deportivo have been busy asking club members if any of them actually want to see Neymar back at the Camp Nou.

The answer seems to be an emphatic No. Apparently a whopping 71.2% do not want the Brazilian back at the club.

Juventus make De Ligt move

Barcelona seem to have given up hope of signing Matthijs de Ligt already, and the latest reports suggest he could turn down PSG too and head to Juventus instead.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the defender will be offered a five-year deal by the Italian champions and they are trying to convince him to move to Turin.

Juventus have also made an official bid to Ajax for the teenager, who is still trying to make his mind up.

Neto will join Barcelona on Tuesday

Barcelona’s search for a new goalkeeper is inching closer, according to another report in Sport.

Valencia stopper Neto is the chosen one, and he is expected to arrive at the Camp Nou on Tuesday.

The Brazilian wants out because he doesn’t get on with Marcelino and will move to Barcelona, with Jasper Cillessen heading to Valencia in July.

Barcelona keen on West Brom youngster

And finally today we end with news that West Brom have handed 16-year-old striker Louie Barry a new contract to “stave off interest from Barcelona.”

Sky Sports report that the teenager is “one of the hottest properties in youth football” and has already been to Spain twice to meet with Barcelona.

West Brom are desperate to keep him out of the Spanish champions’ clutches and have offered him a one-year scholarship which will be followed by a two-year professional contract.
