The Argentinian won the online vote, beating out the other three finalists, one of whom was Messi’s teammate Ivan Rakitic, whose group stage goal against Tottenham finished third.

Sergio Busquets was the best passer in last season’s Champions League. The midfielder topped UEFA’s charts when it came to finding his teammates, ending with 93% passing accuracy - hitting the mark with 927 of his 995 attempted passes.

In an interview with FOX Sports, the Barça number 10 went into detail about how his two sons have been taking part in training with the club’s football program. One of Barcelona’s most emblematic streets woke up to a new look on Tuesday, as the Barça Store on Passeig de Gracia showed off a giant canvas facade displaying the 2019/20 FC Barcelona kit. The shirt for next season had been unveiled the previous day, featuring a chequered pattern for the first time in the club’s history -a design inspired by the layout of the city’s Eixample neighbourhood.

Dr Pablo Menendez of the Investigation Institute of the Josep Carreras Foundation is carrying out a study of a type of lymphoblastic leukemia which especially affects babies under one year of age.

Barça B captain Sarsanedas will remain at the club until 2021 | Sport
Ferran Sarsanedas knows he will remain at FC Barcelona until at least 2021. The young midfielder, who is the captain of the B side, signed a five year deal when he joined the club. There was a clause which allowed Barça to cancel the remaining two years on his deal but they have informed the youngster he will be part of their plans for next season.
