FC Barcelona have already raised almost 80 million euro from player sales and are looking to sell of a few more players in order to fund the huge fees that will be needed to sign Neymar and Antoine Griezmann.

Marc Cardona to Osasuna, 2.5 million. André Gomes to Everton, 25 million. Jasper Cillessen to Valencia, 35 million. Denis Suárez to Celta Vigo, 16 million. That’s a total of 78.5 million euro in player sales already, with more on the way.

(Although, it has to be said, that a big chunk of that - equalling Cillessen’s transfer fee - has already been spent to acquire Neto from Valencia.)

Barça don’t have to raise all the money through sales to pay for the two stars they want, but getting a return on unwanted players is necessary to ease the financial burden.

Rafinha is another player that the Catalans are hoping to get something for, although given his injury history it might prove difficult.

Finally, there are some “heavy hitters” that could be sold for more substantial sums. Philippe Coutinho is the primary suspect here, and he and/or others could actually be going to Paris Saint-Germain as part of the Neymar deal.

Ousmane Dembélé, Ivan Rakitić, Malcom, and Samuel Umtiti are also names that have been mentioned as possibly leaving this summer.
