Barcelona were back in pre-season training on Monday after the summer break, with new signings Frenkie de Jong, Neto and Antoine Griezmann joining up with the squad.

The club were back on the training pitch for the first time after the players completed their medical check-ups with the club on Sunday.

Barcelona also announced that both goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Ousmane Dembele are back to full fitness after recovering from their injury problems.

The players will train all week as they start their preparations for next season and will then fly out to Japan at the weekend for friendlies against Chelsea and Vissel Kobe.

The first match is against the Premier League side on July 23 at Saitama Stadium, while they then take on Andres Iniesta’s team four days later.

Barcelona will then head home for a Joan Gamper Trophy match against Arsenal on August 4 and then jet off to the United States for two friendlies against Napoli.
