The day Frenkie de Jong has been dreaming about for months now is underway. The Dutch midfielder, who will be presented to the media and supporters at the Camp Nou this afternoon, travelled to the Hospital de Barcelona this morning for the first part of his medical.

Frenkie de Jong is already in Barcelona. The new Barça signing arrived this Thursday afternoon and will undergo the relevant medical tests that need to be passed on Friday, before being presented as a new player of FC Barcelona. Upon his arrival at El Prat Airport, the Dutchman emphasised: “I am very happy to be here finally. As a child it was a dream for me to play at Barça, and now I’m here so it’s great. I’m really looking forward to setting foot on the Camp Nou pitch for the first time.”
