Barcelona released their new third kit for the 2019-20 season on Thursday.

The new shirt is a “teal” effort with a retro style blaugrana collar and the Rakuten logo in white lettering.

The shirt also features a print which is “an all-over, diamond-shaped jacquard pattern, inspired by Barcelona’s coat of arms,” according to Nike.

Gerard Pique features in the launch and is so blown away by the shirt he describes it as “very nice”....and then after a bit goes for “beautiful.”

He adds a bit more in the official Nike press release which also says the kit will get its debut when Barcelona get their Champions League campaign underway later this month

“When you see this color, you think of Ronaldo, Guardiola, Stoichkov, Luis Enrique…so many great players. It will be a pleasure to wear this kit and bring our fans joy with victories both at home and abroad.”

The shorts will also be teal with a blue trim, while the socks are the same colour but topped with a blaugrana trim.
