Sergio Busquets has been talking about new Barcelona team-mate Frenkie de Jong while on international duty with Spain.

The Netherlands international has had a quiet start to life at the Camp Nou after his move from Ajax but shone for his national team on Friday with a goal in a 4-2 win over Germany.

Busquets was asked about De Jong by reporters and is backing the Dutch star to come good once he adapts to life at his new club.

“Time puts each one in their place, in the end. Frenkie still has to adapt to a different style, more positional than he had in his team, but with the quality he has he can do it brilliantly.

Busquets also tipped De Jong and Spain’s Fabian Ruiz to become the best in the world in their position in the future.

Spain are back in action on Sunday against the Faroe Islands, while Netherlands play Estonia on Monday.
