How will Barcelona replace injured Luis Suarez?

The Uruguayan has been ruled out for a lengthy spell

With the unfortunate news that Luis Suarez will be out for four months due to knee surgery, it’s time to really consider what a replacement for the Barcelona striker looks like. In reality, it may look like nothing except for squad rotation and perhaps a strategic change.

  1. Ansu Fati - Fati is going to get an increase in playing time from this injury regardless. It just depends if that means moving him into the starting 11 as a midfielder or if he comes off the bench just at a higher pace.
  2. Antoine Griezmann - Moving Griezmann to a more central role in the attack is the best short-term solution. It’s also the option that is likely to lead to the most immediate success.
  3. Transfer - This will probably look like a combination of the rumor of the day for the next few weeks. Lautaro Martinez seems to be the flavor of the last few weeks and will probably pick back up in the next few days.

What do you think the best solution is for replacing Luis Suarez?
