New Barcelona boss Quique Setien took time to check out Abel Ruiz and Alejandro Marques in training on Thursday as he ponders how to replace the injured Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan has been ruled out for four months after undergoing knee surgery, meaning the team are in need of a replacement No.9.
Antoine Griezmann is one option to fill in for Suarez, while the club could also look to bring in a player as the January transfer window is open.
However, Setien also appears to be thinking about turning to the club’s youngsters to fill the gap in attack.
Yet neither player has impressed this season in front of goal for Barca B. Ruiz has three goals and two assists in 17 Barca B outings this season, while Marques is yet to find the back of the net in 11 appearances.
