Barcelona’s defence is in good hands with Clement Lenglet in the backline, according to club legend Carles Puyol.
The former Barca captain has taken to Instagram to show off a recent meeting with Lenglet which he seems to have enjoyed.
He wrote: “A pleasure talking to you, Clement. The defense of my dear Barca is in good hands. Good luck, now comes the best and most beautiful. Enjoy.”
Lenglet forced his way into the starting XI under Ernesto Valverde and became a regular at Barca after his move from Sevilla in July 2018.
He was left out of new manager Quique Setien’s starting XI for his first game in charge against Granada on Sunday but returned in the midweek Copa del Rey win at UD Ibiza.
