FULL-TIME, Barcelona 5-1 Ferencváros: Excellent performance, excellent victory to start the European season. Well done, boys!

GOAL! Barcelona 5-1 Ferencváros (Dembélé 89’): IT’S FIVE! Barça seal the victory thanks to an assist by Messi and a great finish from Dembélé! What a super sub performance from the Frenchman!

GOAL! Barcelona 4-1 Ferencváros (Pedri 82’): IT’S FOUR FOR BARÇA! Dembélé takes on his defender, leaves him for dead with an amazing move and finds Pedri all alone to kill the game! What a goal!

71min: Ronald Araujo comes on for Coutinho as Koeman reshapes the defense for the final 20 minutes.

GOAL, Barcelona 3-1 Ferencváros (Kharatin 70’): Ferencváros get a goal back as Kharatin scores from the spot. Will 10-man Barça suffer the rest of the game?

68min: RED CARD! Piqué is sent off with a straight red for denying a clear and obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

68min: PENALTY TO FERENCVÁROS! Gerard Piqué fights for position with Nguen and is called for a shirt pull inside the box.

62min: Triple substitution from Ronald Koeman as Junior Firpo, Pedri and Ousmane Dembélé replace Sergi Roberto, Ansu Fati and Trincão.

GOLAZO! Barcelona 3-0 Ferencváros (Coutinho 52’): IT’S THREE! Another beautiful goal as Ansu Fati pulls off a backheel assist and Coutinho fires it home!

50min: A shot on target from Trincão! Yay.

49min: Couple of really bad shots by Trincão to start the second half. I mean, really bad.

SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Barcelona 2-0 Ferencváros: And we’re back underway! Let’s finish the job and get some more goals, boys!

HALFTIME, Barcelona 2-0 Ferencváros: After a slow start Barça have absolutely dominated the game, and a two-goal lead is more than deserved after the first 45 minutes.

GOLAZO! Barcelona 2-0 Ferencváros (Fati 42’): IT’S TWO FOR BARÇA!!! Frenkie De Jong plays a SPECTACULAR pass over the top to find a wide open Ansu Fati inside the box, and the phenom just taps the ball past Dibusz to double the lead.

39min: Dibusz again! Another great save by the Ferencváros keeper to stop Trincão after a beautiful pass from Messi.

37min: CROSSBAR! Beautiful through ball from Pjanic to find Messi all alone in front of the keeper, but the captain’s shot hits the bar.

36min: Trincão finds Fati with a really nice pass and Ansu’s shot is stopped by Dibusz with his legs. Barça in complete control now and creating good chances.

35min: Sergi Roberto receiving some medical attention after a rough challenge from Laïdouni but seems to be okay.

30min: Coutinho finds Fati at the edge of the box and Ansu fires a low shot but can’t beat the keeper.

29min: Another nice move from Barça, De Jong gets to the byline and finds Ansu Fati with a nice cross, but Ansu can’t find the target.

GOAL, Barcelona 1-0 Ferencváros (Messi 27’): BARÇA TAKE THE LEAD! The captain scores with ease from the spot and the Blaugrana are ahead!

26min: PENALTY TO BARÇA! Messi comes up with magic out of nowhere as the runs through four defenders and is brought down in the box!

22min: Coutinho tries to place a gorgeous curling shot into the top corner off a Messi pass but the ball goes just wide.

19min: Another huge chance for Ferencváros as Isael hits the post with a powerful shot. The visitors are reall threatening so far.

16min: Excellent attacking move by Barça with a couple of one-twos between Messi and Coutinho then Ansu Fati, and Messi’s shot is well stopped by the goalkeeper.

11min: GOAL DISALLOWED! Ferencváros almost took a shocking lead through Tokmac Nguen, but the striker was offside and the goal is called off.

10min: Slow start for Barça with not a lot of movement and pretty safe passing.

5min: First chance for Barça on a Messi free-kick that’s easily grabbed by Dibusz.
