FULL-TIME, Barcelona 1-3 Real Madrid: The first El Clásico of the season ends in a Madrid win. Barça fought hard but came up short and the controversial penalty had a clear effect on the team.

GOAL, Barcelona 1-3 Real Madrid (Modric 90’): Game over. Neto makes another huge intervention, but the ball falls to Luka Modric rounds the goalkeeper and scores Madrid’s third.

87min: Final roll of the dice by Koeman as Martin Braithwaite replaces Jordi Alba.

86min: NETO AGAIN!!! SPECTACULAR stop by the Barça keeper to stop Sergio Ramos from killing the game.

85min: NETO!!! Amazing double save by the Brazilian to stop Toni Kroos twice.

81min: Here comes the cavalry: three changes at once for Barça as Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembélé and Francisco Trincão replace Ansu Fati, Pedri and Sergio Busquets.

75min: Fifteen minutes to go and no changes from Koeman. Odd.

69min: SAVE! Alba with the cross, Courtois tries to palm it away but the ball falls to Coutinho, but the Belgian makes another great stop.

GOAL, Barcelona 1-2 Real Madrid (Ramos 62’): Sergio Ramos scores from the spot and Madrid have the lead.

61min: Penalty to Real Madrid after a VAR review. Lenglet is called for pulling Sergio Ramos’ shirt, and thanks to some blatant acting by Ramos, the call is made.

53min: CLOSE AGAIN! Brilliant cross from Ansu Fati to Coutinho, who heads the ball low and away from Courtois but hits the side netting.

51min: CLOSE! Ansu Fati finds space on the right side and fires a very dangerous low shot that goes just wide.

50min: No chances so far for either team, who are very successful at stopping each other right now.

SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid: And we’re back underway! Come on, boys! Let’s find the winner and complete the comeback!

HALFTIME, Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid: Very entertaining and intense first half. The goals came super early but the fun continued throughout the period.

28min: Yellow card for Clément Lenglet for a foul on Valverde.

24min: NETO!!! Big save by the Barça goalkeeper to stop what seemed like an easy goal for Benzema.

23min: HUGE CHANCE! Messi receives the ball inside the box, dribbles past Sergio Ramos and tries to beat Courtois, but the Belgian makes an amazing save.

19min: Another shot on target for Barça, this time Messi tests Courtois in goal. Messi is down after a rough challenge from Casemiro, who gets a yellow card for it.

14min: Shot on target from Philippe Coutinho but a comfortable save for Thibaut Coirtois. Barça putting on the pressure after equalizing.

GOAL!!! Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid (Fati 8’): BARÇA EQUALIZE!!! Messi finds Jordi Alba with a beautiful lob pass, and Alba gives Ansu Fati a tap-in for an instant reply!

7min: Vinicius Junior makes a one-two with Benzema and nearly gets a shot on target. Horrible start from Barça.

GOAL, Barcelona 0-1 Real Madrid (Valverde 5’): Terrible defensive breakdown for Barça and Karim Benzema finds Federico Valverde all alone inside the box for the opening goal.
