Jorge Messi has slammed a report that Paris Saint-Germain have been in touch with him to talk about a possible move for the Barcelona captain.
According to ESPN Argentina, the Ligue 1 champions want to be at the front of the queue when it comes to potential negotiations over Lionel Messi’s future.
The report didn’t take long to find its way to Messi Sr who promptly took to Instagram Stories with the message: “Stop inventing !!! Fake news.”

Sporting director Leonardo admitted PSG were tempted by Messi over the summer after he had told Barca he wanted to leave but admitted it was a “complicated situation with Financial Fair Play.”
Messi can talk to other clubs in January as he’s in the final year of his contract, and it’s not known what his thoughts are currently.
There’s likely to be plenty of changes in the next few months, with a new president set to be announced, which will surely have an impact on Messi’s future plans.
