Barcelona’s Konrad de la Fuente made his USA debut on Thursday in an international friendly draw with Wales at the Liberty Stadium.
The teenager was in from the start for Gregg Berhalter’s side, while Sergino Dest was also in the starting XI for the match.

The visitors had much the better of the first half but chances were at a premium for both sides. Konrad did have sight of goal but he skied an effort from inside the area when well placed.
Dest enjoyed a pretty impressive performance on the right. The Barcelona man played with a bit of swagger and showed some great feet to tee up Weston McKennie for a cross.
Konrad had a header blocked at the start of the second half and went off on the 70 minute-mark as Berhalter opted to make changes.
The second half fizzled out at a little bit in true international friendly style, although Wales did force a couple of saves from goalkeeper Zach Steffen.
Dest, who looked bright all night, was given a breather for the last few minutes as the two sides settled for a goalless draw.
