FULL-TIME, Atlético 1-0 Barcelona: This was awful.
90+1min: Sergi Roberto hobbles off with what looks like a thigh injury. Barça down to 10 men at the moment even though Koeman has another substitution to make.
88min: Bad clearance by Oblak and the ball comes right to Braithwaite, who rushes his shot and has it blocked by Stefan Savic.
87min: Trincão cuts inside to his left foot and fires a bad shot over the bar. Barça look terrible right now.
83min: Two more changes for Barça: Francisco Trincão comes on for Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite replaces Pjanic.
81min: OBLAK! Solid save by the Atlético keeper to stop a Griezmann header.
80min: Messi takes a free-kick from 25 yards that is deflected off for a corner.
79min: Atlético doing a WHOLE BUNCH of timewasting right now. Super frustrating.
72min: Carrasco fires from the edge of the box but misses the target by a lot.
67min: Miralem Pjanic with a shot from distance that goes over the bar.
65min: Dembélé fires a shot wide as Barça try to increase the pressure.
63min: Dest is playing right-back, Frenkie De Jong is now at center-back and Sergi Roberto moves to midfield in Barça’s new setup without Piqué.
62min: Sergiño Dest comes on for a very disappointed Piqué who is putting very little weight on his right leg. Looks like a serious injury.
58min: Gerard Piqué is down holding his knee, and the replay of the injury was UGLY.
57min: OBLAK AGAIN! Another save for the Atlético keeper, this time a big one to stop a powerful header by Lenglet.
57min: Ronald Koeman’s first change of the game: Philippe Coutinho returns from injury and replaces Pedri.
56min: Oblak with an easy save on a Clément Lenglet header.
55min: Dembélé has come back from the dressing room, but the rest of the team hasn’t. Very slow start to the half from Barça.
46min: Good news: Dembélé is back for the second half despite what looked like a serious shoulder injury. Seems like the halftime treatment worked and Ousmane is still playing.
SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Atlético 1-0 Barcelona: And we’re back underway! Let’s make the comeback, boys!
HALFTIME, Atlético 1-0 Barcelona: Bizarre goal to end the first half and Atlético have the lead. Barça haven’t been able to find spaces but had two good chances and couldn’t score, and they paid for a bad mistake by Ter Stegen.
GOAL, Atlético 1-0 Barcelona (Carrasco 45’+3): Atleti take the lead. Carrasco receives a long pass in midfield, Ter Stegen tries to play sweeper keeper but can’t clear the ball, and Yannick scores from 40 yards with ease.
44min: Dembélé down with an injured shoulder and Francisco Trincão is ready to come on for the Frenchman.
41min: CHANCE! Brilliant pass from Jordi Alba to find Messi all alone in the box, but the captain shows rare hesitation in front of goal and eventually fires a weak shot right at Jan Oblak.
39min: Carrasco finds himself in space inside the box but can’t make up his mind to shoot or cross, and eventually the Barça defense clears the danger.
30min: Little break in action as the referee has some trouble with his equipment.
22min: Things have calmed down for a bit and the game has settled into Barça having possession with Atleti well organized at the back.
13min: Dembélé beats Carrasco again, finds Jordi Alba with a cross, then Messi receives the ball and tries to cross it to Griezmann for a header but his touch is too strong.
11min: CROSSBAR! Correa finds Llorente inside the box and the Atleti midfielder hits the woodwork.
10min: Very physical, intense start with both teams looking to trainsition quickly whenever they recover the ball. Each team has had a chance and the game is really fun so far.
4min: TER STEGEN! Amazing save from the German to stop a beautiful long shot by Saúl.
2min: CHANCE! Ousmane Dembélé takes on Carrasco, fires a cross into the box and Antoine Griezmann touches it over the bar.
