Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has finished in second place in the 2020 Golden Boy Award behind Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

The award is organised by Tuttosport and handed to the best player under the age of 21 in Europe’s top leagues.

Haaland has scooped top spot after a prolific campaign which saw him swap Salzburg Dortmund midway through last season.

The striker finishes above Fati who also enjoyed a remarkable campaign. The teenager broke into the Barca first team and broke all sorts of records for the Catalan giants in his first season with the senior side.

Fati takes second place ahead of Bayern’s Alphonso Davies who was named in third spot, while Jadon Sancho came in fourth and Eduardo Camavinga rounded out the top five.
