Barcelona received some good news on the injury front with both Clement Lenglet and Ronald Araujo able to take some part in Monday’s training session.
Lenglet suffered an ankle injury in the win over Osasuna but did a light session which suggests it’s not a serious problem, although he’s unlikely to be fit for the trip to Ferencvaros.
Araujo is also stepping up his recovery from a hamstring problem. He trained with the group for the first time and is closing in on a return, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The defender could be passed fit for Wednesday’s game but may not be risked in the match because Barcelona have already qualified for the knockout stages.
It’s more likely we may see Lenglet or Araujo back at the weekend when Barcelona travel to Cadiz which would be a big boost for Ronald Koeman and his team.
