Are there problems in the dressing room?

FC Barcelona players are not talking to each other much, in a way that has surprised even their opposition, according to a new story published in Catalonia.

Unnamed Levante players are quoted in the piece from Diario SPORT, saying “on the pitch, they didn’t even talk to each other. Just the minimum during set pieces, and that’s it.”

Barcelona defeated Levante by 1-0, but apparently, weren’t particularly enthused by the performance.

“After the game, absolutely nothing was heard in the dressing room tunnel,” another unnamed Levante player was quoted as saying. “Not a word of satisfaction for having beat us... It was a strange situation.”

The report says that while there is no problem between the veterans and the younger players, there is also not that much feeling between them.

The squad is apparently concentrated on working hard and improving, but there simply doesn’t seem to be much enthusiasm or joy coming from the players, This could be a source of concern.

However, perhaps the win and the holiday season will change things. Manager Ronald Koeman described hearing the players-only holiday dinner as a “party” that could be heard from outside the room. Are things changing?
