Moussa Wague vows to return ‘stronger than ever before’ after knee surgery

The defender has been ruled out for nine months

Moussa Wague has offered an update on his progress after being ruled out for nine months after suffering a serious knee injury while on loan with PAOK.

Barcelona confirmed over the weeked that the defender is set for a long spell out after going under the knife to “repair and reconstruct patellar ligament in his right knee.”

Wague returned to Barcelona for the operation and will continue his recovery with the club and has now offered an update on social media.

The Senegal international says he’s feeling “fine,” has thanked fans for their messages of support and vowed to return “stronger than ever before.”
