Philippe Coutinho is set to undergo tests on a knee injury after limping out of Barcelona’s 1-1 draw against Eibar on Tuesday.
The Brazil international only came on in the second half to replace Miralem Pjanic but couldn’t complete the 90 minutes after picking up a problem.
Coutinho limped out of the match in the final minutes and may now be set for another spell out of the team.
Ronald Koeman confirmed after the match Coutinho “has discomfort in his knee and we’ll have to do some more tests to see what the problem is.”
It’s not clear yet if it’s a serious injury or if Coutinho is set to add to Barca’s injury list that already includes Ansu Fati, Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto.
Coutinho has struggled to impress recently and has found himself on the bench in Barca’s last few games with Pedri seemingly ahead of the former Liverpool man in the pecking order.
