FULL-TIME, Cádiz 2-1 Barcelona: Big win for Cádiz, bad loss for a Barça team that couldn’t be fluid enough to create real chances throughout the game.

90+3min: Messi’s free-kick is a rocket blocked by the Cádiz defense.

90+2min: Huge free-kick! Messi is fouled at the edge of the box and this might be Barça’s biggest chance yet.

89min: Ledesma again! Excellent save to stop a powerful shot from Griezmann.

86min: Close! Big counter attack by Cádiz and Adekanye is one-on-one with Ter Stegen but drags his shot wide.

85min: LEDESMA! Huge save by the Cádiz goalkeeper to stop a certain goal by Pjanic.

84min: Great pass by Pjanic to find Trincão who misses an easy cross, but Dembélé gathers the ball and finds Messi who fires an easy shot right at Ledesma.

81min: TER STEGEN! Big save by the German to stop Alejo.

77min: Two changes from Koeman: Francisco Trincão is on for Dest, and Miralem Pjanic replaces Busquets. Barça going on a full-on attack.

73min: Comfortable stop by Ledesma on a shot by Messi.

72min: CLOSE! Busquets with an amazing pass to find Dest, who fires just wide with his left foot. The American was likely offside, but it’s still a big miss.

GOAL, Cádiz 2-1 Barcelona (Negredo 63’): Cádiz retake the lead. Lenglet can’t handle a simple throw-in by Alba and Álvaro Negredo gets to the ball before Ter Stegen and scores on an open net.

GOAL!!! Cádiz 1-1 Barcelona (Alcalá OG 57’): BARÇA EQUALIZE! Messi finds Alba, who tries to cross it towards Griezmann but Alcalá deflects the ball against his own net!

50min: Messi fires from the edge of the box but it’s a comfortable grab for Ledesma.

46min: Two halftime changes by Ronald Koeman: Pedri comes on for Óscar Mingueza, and Ousmane Dembélé replaces Coutinho to add some speed and flair to the lineup. De Jong is now playing center-back.

SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Cádiz 1-0 Barcelona: And we’re back underway! Come on, boys, let’s find the goals and make the comeback!

HALFTIME, Cádiz 1-0 Barcelona: Cádiz scored a strange goal in a set piece and spent the rest of the half with 11 men behind the ball, and the plan is working thanks to a Barça team lacking creativity.

45+3min: Griezmann with the cross, Coutinho wins the header and it’s an easy save for Ledesma.

45+2min: Messi with the cross, De Jong wins a header, and Alba fires the ball well wide.

42min: CLOSE! Messi takes a direct corner trying to catch Ledesma off guard but the Cádiz keeper is alert and sends it away for another corner.

40min: Messi seems to have a knock after a collision with Fali and is walking gingerly.

35min: CLOSE! Dest wins a header in the box and Alcalá makes a great clearance before Braithwaite gets a chance to shoot.

33min: Excellent piece of individual skill by Dest and a dangerous cross, but Fali makes a great clearance before the ball reaches Braithwaite.

25min: Ledesma! Good save by the Cádiz goalkeeper on a Messi free-kick.

16min: Lionel Messi plays Martin Braithwaite through and the striker forces a big save by Ledesma.

14min: Sergiño Dest with a powerful cross against the face of goal, Griezmann can’t connect and Philippe Coutinho fires it over the bar.

10min: The goal is given after a VAR check, even though Barça were asking for a foul on Mingueza.

GOAL, Cádiz 1-0 Barcelona (Giménez 9’): Cádiz take the lead. Corner from the left, Mingueza heads it against his own goal, Ter Stegen saves it and Álvaro Giménez taps it home.

4min: Frenkie De Jong’s long shot is blocked at the edge of the box and Ledesma grabs it with ease.

2min: CLOSE! Excellent lob pass from Sergio Busquets to find Antoine Griezmann, but Ledesma comes out of goal well and gets to the ball first.
