Barcelona Femeni enjoyed a massive 9-0 win over Santa Teresa on Saturday to maintain their perfect start to the 2020-21 season.

Lluís Cortés side have now won seven out of seven in the Primera Division, scoring 38 goals along the way and conceding just once.

Incredibly eight of Barcelona’s goals came in the first half with Dutch striker Lieke Mertens completing a hat-trick after only 25 minutes of the contest.

Yet Jenni Hermoso went one better, finishing the game with four goals and also writing her name into the history books along the way.

Hermoso’s goals saw her overtake Sonia Bermúdez and become Barcelona Femení‘s all-time top scorer on 125 goals.

Mariona Caldentey and Asisat Oshoala were also on target in a one-sided affair at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, while the game also saw Andrea Falcón return after almost 12 months out with a knee injury.

Barcelona Femeni now turn their attentions to the Champions League and a Round of 32 first-leg trip to PSV Eindhoven.
