Jordi Alba has been declared fit to return to action and has been included in Barcelona’s squad for Sunday’s La Liga match against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

The left-back has been out of action since picking up an adductor injury in the win over Getafe and has missed the last two matches against Eibar and Napoli.

However, he has been passed fit and is in contention to play on Sunday in a crucial match at the top of the table.

Junior Firpo has filled in for Alba over recent weeks but has come in for criticism and seems to be lacking confidence.

Quique Setien therefore has a tough to decision to make over whether to through Alba straight back into the fray or continue with Junior in a such a big game.
