The UEFA Champions League final is scheduled to be held on June 27th, almost a month after it was originally set for. The match will take place in Atatürk Olympic Stadium, in Istanbul, Turkey, so long as the coronavirus crisis improves.

The UEFA Europa League final will be held just three days before the Champions League final as UEFA attempts to conclude all tournaments in a reasonable time.

UEFA projects football returning in mid-April, with the season concluding in late June. The European Championship being postponed until 2021 was a key part of this, allowing one extra month for club competitions to finalize.

Rumors suggest that the knockout stages could be held as one-legged affairs, rather than home-and-away ties as has been the case before. Barcelona still have a second leg match against Napoli in the Champions League that has yet to be played.
