Junior Firpo hurt himself go-karting because Barcelona wasn’t wild enough

If the typical run of play injury wasn’t enough for you, we have a story. Marca are reporting that Junior Firpo injured his hand during some off the pitch actions. What are the actions you ask? Well, apparently go-karting.

The report says that the go-kart race wherein Firpo hurt his hand featured Junior trying to drift the go-kart in between Marc-André ter Stegen’s legs on a dare. The effort fell short because Firpo flopped and crashed the go-kart before reaching Ter Stegen’s outstretched legs.

However, the report is real. Hence why Firpo had a bandage on his hand in two matches against Napoli and Eibar. The effort would of course be against risky activities that the squad are forbidden to do.
