Samuel Umtiti adds to Barcelona’s defensive concerns ahead of Real Mallorca

Samuel Umtiti reportedly missed Barcelona training on Sunday which will be of concern to manager Quique Setien as Clement Lenglet is suspended for their next match.

Lenglet picked up his fifth yellow of the season against Real Sociedad last time out whih means he will miss their next game at Real Mallorca.

Umtiti would have been expected to replace Lenglet in the starting XI but sat out Sunday’s recovery session, according to Mundo Deportivo. .

Barcelona B’s Ronald Araujo did take part in the session, and was not part of García Pimienta’s squad for Sunday’s match against Llagostera, and may now come into contention.

Umtiti does have a bit of time to get ready for Saturday’s fixture. The team have a rest day on Monday before returning to training on Tuesday.
