One of the bigger plot lines for Barcelona this summer will be whether or not they can land Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan. The complicated nature of the current economic outlook will certainly have its impact on that, as well as Inter’s hesitancy to sell Lautaro in general.
Should Barcelona not find the correct package to land Lautaro, a backup option has come into view. Real Sociedad’s Alexander Isak is reportedly being viewed as a solid option, according to SER Catalunya.
Borussia Dortmund do have an option to re-sign Isak in 2021 for €30m, so that makes things a tiny bit more complicated. However, the possibility of a move to Barcelona will likely sway Isak into being a bit more open-minded with his options.
