Barcelona are not interested in Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak as an alternative to Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez. The Argentine remains a top target, as is Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain. That’s all according to ESPN’s Samuel Marsden.
Barça not currently interested in Real Sociedad striker Isak. He's young, so may change in future, but still focused on Lautaro and/or Neymar ... but all up in the air atm due to coronavirus.— Samuel Marsden (@samuelmarsden) April 15, 2020
Isak was rumored to be an alternative for Lautaro should Inter remain inflexible in selling the player, but this rumor may not prove to be true.
Things could change, of course, because of the uncertainty brought forth by the coronavirus crisis.
The front cover of Argentina’s Diario Olé is devoted to Lautaro as well, with the article “Barcelona makes their play for Lautaro.”
The general feeling is that Barcelona will try their best to land Lionel Messi’s compatriot, as well as the prodigal son, Neymar. At least one of the two, if not both. However, with all the uncertainty, who’s to say what will actually come to pass?
