Former Inter Milan striker Antonio Cassano reckons the Nerazzurri should sell Lautaro Martinez and bring in Arthur, Edinson Cavani from PSG and Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Martinez has emerged as Barcelona’s top summer transfer target and will be available at a price of €111 million in July.
Cassano told an Instagram Q&A that the time is right for Inter to cash in on the Argentina international and use the money to strengthen the rest of the squad.
“Lautaro is very good, but I would sell him. You brought him for €20m and sell him for over €100m.
“Or even get €70m to €80m and Arthur. Then I would go for Cavani, who is on an expiring contract and would be perfect for Conte.
“In addition, there will also be money from the sale of Icardi and I would go to Arsenal to bring in [Alexandre] Lacazette.
“Lautaro will become even better, but I would say to him: ‘it was a pleasure’.”
Reports have suggested that Martinez’s price tag may prove problematic for Barcelona, and the Spanish champions will try to land the striker for a lower fee by including players in the deal.
