FC Barcelona and Inter Milan continue negotiating on a players-plus-cash deal, with the Italians zeroing in on a right-back in part exchange for their striker, according to a new report.

Inter Milan are asking for a hefty 111 million euro fee for Lautaro Martínez but would be willing to reduce the number with players included in the deal, and it is said that they are in particular looking for a right-back.

Nélson Semedo or Emerson could be included in the operation. In Semedo’s case, Barcelona already have him in the squad, although it remains to be seen whether Inter want to match the wages that Manchester City are reportedly offering the Portuguese.

Should Inter want Emerson, Barcelona would first have to pay a buyback fee of around 6 million to get him back from Real Betis. His wage demands will be lower, which might make the deal more viable for Inter.
