Jean-Clair Todibo lasted just 45 minutes of Schalke’s Revierderby clash against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday as the Bundesliga returned to action after being suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Barcelona loanee started the game at the Signal Iduna Park but was taken off along with Benito Raman at half-time by manager David Wagner with Schalke 2-0 down

Todibo started the game pretty well and made a great clearance near the goalline on 12 minutes to prevent Dortmund taking an early on.

He also had a pretty interesting tangle with Erling Braut Haaland at a Dortmund corner.

Haaland put Dortmund 1-0 up on the half-hour mark after a neat move, while Raphaël Guerreiro added a second just before the break.

Todibo seemed to pick up an muscle injury towards the end of the first half so it was not a huge surprise to see him fail to come back out after half-time.

Thorgan Hazard added a third for Dortmund early in the second half, while Guerreiro scored Dortmund’s fourth to wrap up a comfortable win.
