Inter Milan are considering an offer from Barcelona to trade Lautaro Martínez for two players and 50 million, according to a new report, which also claims the Italians fear their star forward could be distracted by transfer speculation.
Arturo Vidal, Junior Firpo, and Samuel Umtiti are the three players mentioned as possible makeweights.
It remains to be seen if the players are willing to accept being moved on.
Vidal could be attracted by a return to Serie A with a club that has been in for him for a while and a coach, Antonio Conte, who is a big fan of his.
Firpo may be harder to convince as he has only been at Barcelona for less than one full season.
Umtiti may be wanted on loan, considering his injury history. Inter obviously like him, but are unsure whether he will return to his physical peak. It is understood Ivan Rakitić will not be a part of the deal, as the Croatian has declined to move to Inter.
