Arthur has rejected the idea of moving to Italy, and has informed both Juventus and Barcelona of the decision, according to Catalonia’s two biggest sports papers.
“Juve goes all in for Arthur, but the Brazilian resists,” says Diario SPORT. And “Arthur communicates to Juventus and Barça he is not moving,” says Mundo Deportivo.
The Italians made a push over the weekend, and the Catalans had a meeting, and the player in both cases communicated his intention to complete the season with calmness and to stay at Barcelona.
The player’s father spoke with Juventus’s sporting director, Fabio Paratici, to thank him for the interest but to tell him his son was not ready to move.
The player’s family also met with Barcelona’s upper brass to inform them what they told Juve.
