Golden Boy award voting underway: Ansu Fati nominated, Håland the favorite

Voting for the Golden Boy award is underway with Erling Braut Håland of Borussia Dortmund widely considered the favorite to win, but with Ansu Fati of FC Barcelona nominated and considered one of the contenders as well.

Jadon Sancho, Håland’s teammate at Dortmund, is also one of the contenders.

The award is given by the Italian magazine Tuttosport, which has set up a fan vote here. The award, however, is not decided by fan vote but by several European magazines.

One hundred players under 21 years old have been nominated.
