Frenkie de Jong is reportedly angry with Barcelona over his latest injury that has ruled him out of action for a little while.
The Dutchman feels his injury was misdiaganosed by the club’s medical staff and is threatening to return to the Netherlands for treatment, according to Cat Radio.
The report reckons that De Jong is aware his calf problem means his league season is pretty much finished and is not the only player unhappy with the way injuries are being handled.
Apparently “there is a growing unease” in the dressing room about how the club’s medical department are dealing with the various injuries that have cropped up.
Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembélé are highlighted as examples of players who have headed to Qatar for treatment rather than go with the club’s guidelines.
Quique Setien spoke about De Jong on Monday in his press conference but played down suggestions he wouldn’t play again in La Liga this season.
