Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig have been enjoying life at Barcelona since La Liga resumed with some influential performances for the first team.

Puig came on and helped change the game in the 1-0 win over Athletic in midweek, while Ansu scored his fifth La Liga goal of the season against Leganes.

Barcelona have now made it clear to Quique Setien that they want the duo to play more regularly and gain more prominence, according to Sport.

There’s also a suggestion that other youngsters, such as Inaki Pena, Ronald Araujo, Alex Collado and Pedri, will then follow in their footsteps.

Barcelona want Ansu and Puig to be the leaders of a new generation at the club but also want Setien to be careful and not rush them.

The Barcelona boss is said to be willing to use the youngsters more since La Liga resumed. He had been reluctant before but has seen had dynamic and dangerous they can be.
