FULL-TIME, Barcelona 2-2 Atlético: Hard-fought battle but another two points dropped and the title is definitely gone now.
75min: Water break, and the game has been a lot of fun in this second half, and Vidal has come very close to scoring twice in the last 10 minutes. Barça look better and are moving the ball with more purpose, while Atlético haven’t been as dangerous in transition. We’ve got a chance here.
GOAL, Barcelona 2-2 Atlético (Saúl 62’): Saúl steps up again, Ter Stegen dives the right way, gets to the ball, but can’t quite stop it from going in. It’s all square again.
61’ PENALTY TO ATLÉTICO: Semedo brings down Carrasco in the box and Atlético will take their third penalty of the night.
GOAL!!! Barcelona 2-1 Atlético (Messi 49’): SEVEN HUNDRED GOALS FOR MESSI! IT’S A PANENKA FOR THE LEAD!!!
48’ PENALTY TO BARÇA!!! Felipe brings down Nélson Semedo inside the box and it’s a chance to go ahead again!
SECOND HALF KICKOFF! Barcelona 1-1 Atlético: And we’re back underway!
HALFTIME, Barcelona 1-1 Atlético: The game started with madness and fireworks, but the last 15 minutes were pretty boring except for a big save by Oblak on a Messi free-kick. Barça have been uninspired and defensively suspect, which isn’t a surprise these days.
30min: We have our first half water break, and after the wild first 20 minutes we basically have the same old Barça: slow, passing for the sake of it and zero creativity in the final third. Atlético are well organized and always look dangerous on the counter.
GOAL, Barcelona 1-1 Atlético (Saúl 19’): This time it’s Saúl Ñíguez who takes the penalty, and he makes Ter Stegen dive the wrong way. After a wild few minutes, it’s all square at Camp Nou.
17’ IT’S A PENALTY AGAIN!!! Video assistant referee Mateu Lahoz brings everything back and Ter Stegen gets a yelow card for stepping over the line, which is now against the rules.
16’ SAVED BY TER STEGEN!!!!!!! The best goalkeeper in the world stops Diego Costa’s spot kick!!!
15’ PENALTY: Arturo Vidal brings down Yannick Carrasco and Atlético have a chance to equalize.
GOAL!!! Barcelona 1-0 Atlético (Costa OG 12’): BARÇA TAKE THE LEAD!!! Lionel Messi fires a dangerous corner into the box, the ball hits Diego Costa’s right leg and goes in!
KICKOFF! Barcelona 0-0 Atlético: Come on, boys! Let’s play a good game and win this one!
