Yes, it’s the story of Gerard Piqué, whom Barcelona brought back from Manchester United. But it could also be the story of Manchester City’s Eric García.

A Barcelona native and La Masia graduate, García has made six Premier League appearances for Pep Guardiola’s men. The 19-year-old defender’s return greatly interests the Catalans, per a new report.

García’s contract is said to run out in 2021, which would allow Barcelona to snatch him up on a free transfer. He left three years ago and his return could be in the cards, although the report says that no offer has been proposed as of yet.
